nopStation's FwdSlash Chatbot plugin is developed to provide FwdSlash AI chatbot integration for nopCommerce based online stores. FwdSlash is an AI-powered chatbot solution that helps automate customer support, engagement, and sales. With this plugin, store owners can easily configure the bot using either an iframe link or a custom script widget, select custom widget zones (e.g., Footer or Body End HTML Tag Before), and style the iframe width and height directly from the admin panel.
PRE-REQUISITES
- The plugin requires you to install the Nop-Station Core plugin first.
INSTALLATION
- Download the FwdSlash Chatbot Integration plugin from our store https://nop-station.com/customer/downloadableproducts
- Go to Administration → Configuration → Local plugins
- Upload the zip file using the "Upload plugin or theme" button
- Go to Administration, reload the 'list of plugins'. Install 'Nop-Station Core' Plugin first and then Install 'FwdSlash Chatbot' plugin
- To make the plugins functional, restart the application
- Activate the plugin with the 'Edit' option And Configure it
CONFIGURATION
- Go to Admin → NopStation → Plugins → FwdSlash Chat → Configuration
- Enable plugin: Check the box to enable or disable the FwdSlash chatbot.
- Setting Mode: Select whether to embed the chatbot via an Iframe URL or a custom Widget Script.
- Iframe URL: Paste the FwdSlash iframe chatbot URL (e.g., https://chat.fwdslash.ai/iframe-bot/24fo8kpz1dmhgrf).
- Iframe Width: Set the width of the chatbot iframe (e.g., 100% or 400px).
- Iframe Height: Set the height of the chatbot iframe (e.g., 600px).
- Widget Script: If using Widget Script mode, paste the JavaScript snippet provided by FwdSlash.
- Widget Zone: Choose the widget zone where the chat widget will be loaded (e.g., Footer or Body End HTML Tag Before).
