Enhanced Back Order Plugin Documentation

Enhanced Back Order Plugin transforms the default nopCommerce backorder functionality into a powerful revenue recovery engine. Instead of turning customers away when inventory runs out, this plugin allows you to intelligently manage backorders, notify customers automatically, and capture demand that would otherwise be lost.

Designed for high-traffic stores, wholesalers, distributors, and growing eCommerce brands, this plugin ensures your store keeps selling — even when inventory is temporarily unavailable.

PRE-REQUISITES

The plugin requires you to install the Nop-Station Core plugin first.

INSTALLATION

·       Download the Advanced SEO Plugin from our store www.nop-station.com/back-order-plugin-for-nopcommerce 

·       You can learn more about the installation and licensing here

·       Go to Administration → Configuration → Local plugins

 

·       Select the NopStation.Core file and upload it by clicking the 'Upload plugin or theme' button.

·       Select the NopStation.Enhanced Back Order plugin file.

·       Upload the file using the 'Upload plugin or theme' button.

·         After uploading the plugin, go to the Administration. Install 'Nop-Station Core' Plugin first and then install ' NopStation.Enhanced Back Order pluginplugin.

·       To make the plugins functional, restart the application

·       You can configure the plugin by clicking on Configure from the Local Plugins page. Alternatively, go to nopStation → Plugins→ Enhanced Back Order plugin → Configure Enhanced Back Order plugin, enable the required options, and click Save

·       Enable Bluk Order: Enable or disable the Enhanced Back Order plugin feature on the storefront.

·       Enable "Show ETA to customer" and set an ETA date in a backorder record.

·       Set "ETA reminder days before" according to admin

·       Enable backorders per product or globally

·       Allow backorders with or without stock quantity limits

·       Control maximum backorder quantity

·       Define expected availability messages

·       Backorder status changes

·       Admin alerts for new backorders

·       Customer subscription to restock updates

·       Display custom backorder messages on product pages
