Facebook Messenger

nopStation's Facebook Messenger plugin is developed to integrate Facebook messenger functionality for customer chat and communication on nopCommerce-based online businesses. Having Facebook messenger functionality for customer chat can enhance the user experience on nopCommerce based stores for better customer communication. This plugin enables Facebook chat integration for easy customer service through Facebook’s existing rich messenger service after a simple nopCommerce plugin download and installation.

PRE-REQUISITES

The plugin requires you to install the Nop-Station Core plugin first.

INSTALLATION

Download the NopStation Facebook Messenger Plugin from our store https://nop-station.com/customer/downloadableproducts
Go to Administration → Configuration → Local plugins
Upload the NopStation.FbMessenger zip file using the "Upload plugin or theme" button
Go to Administration, reload the 'list of plugins'. Install 'Nop-Station Core' Plugin first and then install 'Facebook Messenger'
To make the plugins functional, restart the application
Enable the plugin with 'Edit' option and Configure it

Set up the chat plugin from your Facebook Page

Go to your Page's settings from facebook.
Click Messaging.
Under Add Messenger to your website, click Get started.
Under Set up your chat plugin, click Set up. Select your language, add your website domain(s) and copy the code to paste on your website.
Collect the Code Snippet and Whitelist your domain Ex. https://www.yourstore.com

CONFIGURATION

Go to Admin → Nop Station → Plugins → Facebook messenger → Configuration
Enable plugin: Check to enable the facebook messenger in your site
Check Enable Script and Paste your Code Snippet in plugin configuration page
Or alternatively Uncheck Enable Script and put your Page ID
Theme color: Different theme colors can be determined from here
