Overview
Exclude Discount On Customer Role Plugin by nopStation adds advanced discount filtering to your nopCommerce store. It lets you exclude specific customer roles from discount requirements while allowing individual customer overrides for more precise control.
This plugin is ideal for creating targeted promotions, such as VIP programs or wholesale exclusions. Administrators can prevent certain roles from accessing general discounts while still granting exceptions to selected customers. With these flexible controls, you can manage promotions more effectively, avoid misuse, and maintain profitability.
PRE- REQUISITES
· The plugin requires you to install the Nop-Station Core plugin first.
INSTALLATION
· Download the "Exclude Discount on Customer Role Plugin for nopCommerce” plugin from our store: ‘Exclude Discount on Customer Role Plugin for nopCommerce | nopStation | nopStation - Your Trusted Solutions Partner”
· Go to the Administration section of your site.
· Then go to Configurations > Local Plugins.
· Find and Click on the 'Upload plugin or theme' button on the top right.
· Select the NopStation.Core file and upload it by clicking 'Upload plugin or theme' button.
· Select the NopStation.Plugin.DiscountRules.ExcludeCustomerRoles’file. (need to change)
· Upload the file using the 'Upload plugin or theme' button.
· After uploading the plugin go to Administration. Install 'Nop-Station Core' Plugin first and then install 'NopStation.Plugin.DiscountRules.ExcludeCustomerRoles’ plugin.
· Restart the application
CONFIGURATION
· Go to NopStation >Smart Redirect Manager> Configuration.
· Give the license string than save it
Go to Nop station >>plugins >>Configure
For Create auto register role please enable the checkbox and give a name
For Create auto guest role name please enable the checkbox and give a name
Set Discount rules from Promotions>>Discounts >> Add new
Now go to promotions>>discounts and create new discounts (Ex: flat 20%)
Go to requirements section
select ‘Override Customer Roles’ and ‘select customer role’
You can select customer from plugins>>Override Customer>>List>>Add Customer
The discount will be applied to the selected customers
