Warranty Registration Plugin

nopStation’s Warranty Registration plugin allows customers to register for warranty on delivered orders. Store admins can configure the registration form, review submissions, and approve or decline warranty requests. The order status is automatically displayed in the submissions list, helping admins make informed decisions.

This plugin strengthens the relationship between customers and sellers, enhances customer satisfaction, and supports business growth by providing an organized warranty registration process.

PRE-REQUISITES

·       The plugin requires you to install the Nop-Station Core plugin first.

INSTALLATION

·       Download the Warranty Registration Plugin from our store.

·       Go to Administration → Configuration → Local plugins.

·       First, search and install the Nop-Station Core plugin.

·       Upload the NopStation.WarrantyRegistration zip file using the "Upload plugin or theme" button and install it.

·       To make the plugins functional, restart the application.

CONFIGURATION

·       Go to Admin → Nop Station → Plugins → Warranty Registration → Configuration.

·       Enable warranty registration form: Check this option to enable the warranty registration feature.

·       Show warranty registration link in header section: Check to place the menu in the header.

·       Show warranty registration link in top menu: Check to place the menu in the top menu.

·       Show warranty registration link in footer: Check to place the menu in the footer.

·       Show warranty registration link in my account: Check to place the menu in the customer’s My Account section.

 

EMAIL CONFIGURATION

·       Go to Admin → Content Management → Message Templates.

·       For approval mail, edit the WarrantyRegistration.Approved template and for rejection mail, edit the WarrantyRegistration.Rejected template and insert the following message tokens into the body:

o   %WarrantyRegistration.Status%

o   %WarrantyRegistration.Remarks%

o   %WarrantyRegistration.DetailLink%

·       Click Save to apply changes.

EDIT WARRANTY REGISTRATION FORM

·       Go to Admin → Nop Station → Plugins → Warranty Registration → Form

·       By default, the form contains 3 fixed fields: Email, Order Number, and Product SKU.

·       To add a new field, click Add new field and provide the necessary information.

·       If the field’s control type is Dropdown List, Radio List, or Checkbox, click Save and Continue Edit first, then define the options in the Multi selection items section.

VIEW WARRANTY REGISTRATION FORM SUBMISSIONS

·       Go to Admin → Nop Station → Plugins → Warranty Registration → Submissions

·       Admin can see all warranty form submissions along with Order ID and Order Status.

·       To process a submission, click Edit, and set the status in the Status section by selecting the appropriate value.

 

PUBLIC VIEW

If the plugin is successfully installed and configured this following things will be accessed by the customer:

·       Customers can submit warranty registrations for delivered orders via the front-end form.
