nopStation’s Product Review plugin enhances nopCommerce’s default product review functionality by allowing customers to upload images along with their reviews. This makes reviews more authentic and informative, whether they are positive or negative.

In addition, the plugin introduces several advanced features such as showing customers their pending (unreviewed) purchased products, enabling store admins to send review reminder emails for completed orders, and restricting uploads with maximum file size, allowed extensions, and NSFW detection to ensure safe and relevant content.

PRE-REQUISITES

·       The plugin requires you to install the Nop-Station Core plugin first.

INSTALLATION

·       Download the Product Review Plugin from our store.

·       Go to Administration → Configuration → Local plugins.

·       First, search and install the Nop-Station Core plugin.

·       Upload the NopStation.ProductReview zip file using the "Upload plugin or theme" button and install it.

·       To make the plugins functional, restart the application.

CONFIGURATION

·       Go to Admin → Nop Station → Plugins → Product Review → Configuration.

·       Allow customer to attach image in review: Check this option to allow customers to upload images while submitting product reviews.

·       Enable mail sent: Check this option to enable automatic email notifications to customers after a completed order, prompting them to provide product reviews.

o   To set email, go to Admin → Content Management → Message Templates and search for ProductReviews.PendingProductReview.CustomerNotification.

o   Click on “Edit” button.

o   Insert the %ProductReview.PendingReviewProduct(s)% message token into the body of the template and click the 'Save' button.

·       Show pending reviews on my account page: Check this option to allow customers to view a dedicated list of their unreviewed purchased products in the "My Account" section.

·       Allow max number of files: Define the maximum number of images a customer can upload while reviewing a product.

·       Image size in MB: Define the maximum image file size (in MB) allowed for uploads.

·       Image extensions: Specify the permitted image file formats (e.g., jpg, png, webp).

·       NSFW percentage: Set the maximum NSFW percentage below which pictures will be approved. By default, this is set to 20%. The admin can increase the value to allow pictures with higher NSFW content, or decrease it to allow only pictures with lower NSFW content.

PUBLIC VIEW

If the plugin is successfully installed and configured these following things will be accessed by the customer:

·       Customers can upload images while submitting their product reviews.

·       Customers can view their pending reviews for completed orders directly from the My Account page, under the “My Product Reviews” menu.
