Wednesday, January 07, 2026How Gotham Manufacturing Corp. moved from zero operations to sustained growth and compliance using a scalable Odoo ERP solution.

Gotham Manufacturing Corp. set out to build a compliant, scalable manufacturing operation in one of the most regulated industries in the United States.
Starting with spreadsheets and manual processes allowed for quick execution initially, but as production volumes increased, this approach created limitations in visibility, control, and compliance.
They needed a robust system to track inventory, batches, and documentation to mitigate risks and support sustainable growth.
The company faced significant hurdles due to startup constraints. Relying on manual spreadsheets meant that as operations expanded, tracking inventory and batches became increasingly complex and risky.
In a regulated manufacturing environment, every error in documentation can have serious consequences. Gotham needed to move from ad-hoc tracking to a system that offered full traceability and operational discipline without stalling their rapid growth.

Brain Station 23 implemented Odoo using a phased, business-focused approach. Core ERP modules were prioritized to establish operational discipline immediately, while customization was limited to essential compliance features.

We implemented structured production orders and material consumption tracking. This replaced manual logs with a system that ensures consistency and efficiency on the production floor.
A critical requirement for the industry, the new system enables real-time stock movement and granular batch traceability. This ensures that every unit produced is accounted for and compliant with regulations.
The ERP introduced a controlled order-to-delivery workflow. This helped Gotham manage its sales pipeline effectively, contributing to consistent monthly revenue growth without creating operational bottlenecks.
Beyond immediate operations, the ERP platform now serves as a scalable digital foundation. It positions Gotham to integrate future technologies, such as AI-driven sales forecasting and deeper automation initiatives.

The project followed a structured methodology designed to balance speed with long-term stability:
