Sina Store is a Turkish-based online retailer specializing in custom-made window treatments and related products. Their offerings include various types of blinds such as zebra, plissé, roller, tulle roller, and Venetian blinds. They also provide insect screens, including pleated and sliding models, as well as shower cabins. They emphasize personalized production, allowing customers to order products tailored to their needs.

Challenges

Sina Store approached nopStation, a Gold partner of nopCommerce, with a request to develop several new features and extensive optimizations for the UX on their website. To identify key development challenges, an extensive analysis of their requirements was conducted.

Storefront theme to reflect their brand identity: Sina Store sought a refreshed UX with UI enhancements and improved loading speeds for a smooth and responsive experience.

A price calculator based on product square dimensions: Their product catalog includes home décor materials sold by dimensions. Their requirements included an integrated price calculation process based on product square measurements to ensure the order workflow like in their physical store.

Mobile app support on Android and iOS: Aside from the website, Sina Store had a mobile app as a requirement. They wanted the app to be built on cross-platform technologies so it could use one code base.

Add support for Tosla Payment: For online payments, they wanted support for Tosla, a popular regional payment method.

Per Square Meter Price Calculator: A custom price calculator was developed enabling customers to input height and width dimensions. The system calculates the area in square meters and determines the product price accordingly, automating the materials purchase process and creating a seamless online-to-physical store experience.

Cross-Platform Mobile App with Flutter: Using the Flutter Mobile App for nopCommerce, a mobile shopping experience was synchronized with the nopCommerce storefront via REST API integration.
